Kim Kardashian Robbed At Paris

The famous television personality, model, actress, businesswoman and socialite Kim Kardashian West has been robbed in the city of Paris. She was robbed at her private residence by men who posed as police officers and kept her at gunpoint. They got off with jewellery worth millions of pounds. After stealing the jewels, the robbers fled after tying her up in the flat’s bathroom. Fortunately, she was not harmed physically, but she was a bit shaken up and tensed at the sudden turn out of events.

The police officials at Paris investigating the case stated that 5 men fled the scene on bicycles after robbing a jewelry box containing jewels worth £ 5.2 million, a ring worth € 4 million and also mobile phones. These men were wearing masks on their face and wore police armbands that were fake. They reached the place at around 3 am on Monday and threatened the caretaker of the flat and after handcuffing him asked him to take them to Kim Kardashian. They then tied her up in the bathroom and immediately fled the scene with the valuables.

Kim Kardashian gave her statement to the police and flew out of France Monday morning itself. She had come to attend the Paris fashion week and had also gone to the Balenciaga show on Sunday. Usually, the Kardashians are very active on social media platforms, but they kept their lips sealed regarding this matter and never hinted about it on any social media sites. Her husband, Kanye West was performing at the Meadows at Sunday night and suddenly called off the show in the midst and said the reason was a “family emergency.” A man had tried to attack Kardashian earlier in Wednesday too at Paris. But she was saved by her security people. Let us wind up in the hope that those men get traced, and she gets back her valuable possessions.

The Break Up Of Brangelina

The breakup of Hollywood’s most beloved couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who always seemed to head over heels in love with each other came as a sudden shock to the media and the general public alike. They had been together for 10 years and had 6 kids. No one even had a hint of a trouble in the paradise until Angelina Jolie issued a statement about divorce stating the reason for divorce is to ensure the “health” of the family.

Soon after the news of divorce was confirmed, many rumors were going around regarding what could have possibly caused the split. Some alleged that Brad Pitt had an extramarital relationship with his co-star Marion Cotillard. But soon it was proved that these were just rumors and Cotillard had just professional relation with Pitt. Sources close to Pitt dismissed off the rumors and called it completely untrue and disgraceful to drag the name of a third person into this.

Later it was disclosed that Angelina Jolie had some disagreements about the way Brad Pitt was “parenting the children.” She had also filed a court order for the physical custody of all her 6 kids and also a joint legal custody of children with Brad Pitt. She maintained that he as the father would receive visitation rights to the children.
Brad Pitt laid accusations at Jolie for “unleashing hell.” He also wanted the divorce to be a low profile one and didn’t approve of the way Jolie opened up to the media. He said he was “fearful” about paparazzi hovering around his home and kids. A source speaking to the Mirror claimed that Pitt had serious anger issues.

But later, sources argued that both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie doesn’t wish to wash dirty linen in public and want to reach a mature decision for the sake of the kids. They were both great parents and loved the children a lot. So they wished to make the separation as easy as possible for the kids to get adjusted to. Pitt had issued a statement to the press to understand their emotional turmoil kindly and to give them the well-deserved space to get adjusted and also for the well-being of kids.

The Public Notion Of Germany After A Year Of Refugee Crisis

Germany had been one kind-hearted nation who had opened its arms wide and accepted the refugees from all over the world during the refugee crisis by the end of 2015. The then Chancellor Angela Merkel had been one benevolent lady who spoke the words of compassion like drops of dew for the refugees who were standing on the fire of crisis- “Wir schaffen das” meaning “We can do this.”
Since then she had been criticized mercilessly for her kindness and blamed for encumbering the system, increasing violence and for the rise of Islamic terrorism.

The refugee crisis was a very critical issue which carried over for years of unrest and extreme poverty in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia forcing the people left alive to somehow flee to any country offering refuge. There was always news of deaths of millions of migrants on both sea and land, forcing Germany in coordination with Austria to dissolve the Dublin regulations for Syrian refugees in August.

A kind action never goes unnoticed. And, if this action provided refuge to millions of human lives who were on the verge of death, it is the most virtuous act in the world. Though Angela Merkel was criticized and attacked with a thousand arrows of accusations, her kind actions indeed gave way to appreciations and Germany started getting recognition and a positive outlook after a year of the incident. Germany began to get a positive impression in the Middle East side. Earlier Europeans were considered as a bunch of hypocrites in general. But this one extreme act of kindness removed the hypocrite tag from Germany among other European countries.

Germany also garnered a positive picture in the minds of people in Central Asia and Africa, from where many refugees had found solace in Germany. But still, some criticize that Europe should take a stand for a more organized migration. But still, as an overall impact, it can never be denied that Germany garnered a positive impression, and the credit certainly goes to the compassionate soul, Iron Lady of Germany, Angela Merkel.
